A nod to the childhood explorations of my backyard with a flashlight past bedtime, I photographed the immediate surroundings of my residence past midnight. The photos explore the effect of artificial light on natural elements, but also communicate a resurgence in freedom when revisiting this childhood activity from a current lens.
