Screenprint DESIGN
Summer 2019
Over the summer, I created a design from a sketchbook page and founded E.TEE, a personal merchandise brand. I screenprinted the design onto t-shirts and tote bags, marketed it on several social media platforms, and sold them for a profit.

PREMISE
Humans are essentially organs, accessorized. I depicted this concept through the "characters": heart and brain. Heart zips up a pair of jeans while Brain puts on a hat and a mask. This unrealistic scene draws attention to the material objects we value so greatly.

MARKETING
I created Instagram stories, Facebook groups, and sent personal messages to promote E.TEE. I took preorders via a Google Form, offering a variety of ink and t-shirt colors. I eventually expanded my prints to include tote bags.
Through promoting, processing, printing, and ironing the merchandise, I came to develop an effective workflow. The two batches of merchandise garnered a few hundred dollars in revenue.
